Yu-An (佑安) ‘Yo’ Murray

I’m an artist based in Magandjin/Brisbane, Australia. I was born in Taiwan and raised in Hervey Bay. I work across mediums including painting, textile, soft sculpture and installation.

My practice is shaped like a stream of thoughts. A flow of memories, environments and feelings coalescing into works. The places I move through and the feelings they bring, form into my art. 

My works are imbued with my awe of the world, nature, stories, and knowledge and reflect my shifts in identity, belonging and understanding.
